Greatest
idea so
far I have the privilege to come in contact
with, this is a superb work honoring our
compatriots that lost so much due to ignorance,
greed and stupidity of few. A well thought
book, that encompass all the knowledge and
souvenir I have of the shameful and turbulent
period in Haiti history. For the one I had
the privilege to know and for the nameless
one that disappears. Thank you. Keep the
work alive.

Hope
we won't need
books of that nature in the future. My sympathies
to Patrick Lemoine. I just would like to
get your attention on the name St Lo Dady
is actually Edouard St.Lôt a.k.a.
Dady Dady was a common nickname. M. C. Boston,

Incroyable!
I read the French version and could
not put the book down. A great sense of
shame, fear, and disbelief took over. I will
never forget the detailed account of those
innocent people tortured. I think the idea
of a museum is a great idea for the up-coming
generations to stand as a piece of our history
an too honor the thousands that perished.
Vous etes un homme tres courageux Mr. Lemoine.
Merci encore de m'avoir eduque sur une periode

You
were right,
as soon as I put my hands on the book, I
could not put it down. All this time I was
gloating how free we were during the Duvalier
Regime, not knowing the unthinkable. This
book gave me a good wake up call. How can
such mental and physical abuse be imposed
on a human being. I can't imagine, and its
very hard for me to grasp the cruelties
that went on. This book left me speechless,
and my heart goes out to you and all others
either dead or alive that fought for a better
Haiti! Dominique Verna Elmont,
