in the 1957 presidential elections. He was forced into exile
when Francois Duvalier assumed the presidency. All his assets
were confiscated by the government and of course dissapeared
over the years. He died in exile several years later. |

was arrested on December 20, 1971 on his way to work. He
was interrogated by General Breton Claude and Capt Emmanuel
Orcel. He spent 2 years in solitary confinement in Casernes
Dessalines and transferred to Fort-Dimanche on January 10,
1974. He died on December 6, 1975 in cell # 7. |
